Portfolio of Work
Moda Shoes
MODA is a leading retailer in Northern Ireland, specialising in high-quality ladies’ shoes and handbags. To enhance their reach, Ross assisted MODA in establishing a robust online e-commerce presence across the province. This was accomplished by designing and deploying a custom e-commerce solution using the Prestashop platform. A custom graphical front end was designed in Adobe Photoshop and implemented with valid XHTML and CSS.
Finally, integration was completed to support various popular payment processing gateways.
Phonics Ireland
Phonics Ireland is an online synthetic phonics course designed to equip candidates with the skills needed to teach children of all abilities how to read, using the Phonics Ireland Synthetic Phonics method.
Ross worked closely with the Phonics Ireland team, to develop their custom e-learning course, using SQL and PHP, providing a robust platform for effective learning and teaching.
The platform offers web based course modules, rich with text, audio & video, as well as personalised exams that can be marked and evaluated by the course leaders.
Nourish & Flourish
The Nourish and Flourish app is designed to promote holistic well-being by focusing on nutrition, mental health, and overall lifestyle improvements.
Ross worked closely with the project creator, to build out features such as personalised meal plans, guided mindfulness exercises, and resources for physical activity.
Within the app, users can track their food intake, set wellness goals, and access educational content on healthy living. The app aims to empower individuals to make informed choices that enhance their physical and mental health, fostering a balanced and fulfilling lifestyle.
It was developed using Objective-C & XCode, and made available for sale via the Apple iOS App Store.
Dragonfly Boutique
Dragonfly is an original, indigenous, Northern Ireland based boutique bringing the best mix of beautiful clothing and accessories lovingly selected for its customers.
Ross worked with Dragonfly to establish an online presence to raise brand awareness and inform potential prospects on the selection & quality of products available at each of the Dragonfly high street stores.
The website was designed using Adobe Photoshop, and built out using standards compliant HTML & CSS. PHP was employed to deliver a dynamic news feed / blog. A customer newsletter was developed to serve as a marketing tool, should the client embark on full e-commerce trading in the future.
Not Just
Websites!
As a multi platform software developer, Ross
can build and deploy bespoke software that runs on any architecture. This includes Windows, Linux, MacOS, and even the mobile platforms such as iOS and Android.
